Seafood Vision 2020© begins with a review of the current state of the U.S. seafood market.  After a brief analysis of seafood demand to date the presentation uses demographic and population projections to look at where the U.S. seafood market is likely to be in 2020 and what products will be most in demand and where growth is likely to occur. 

 

After the assessment of future demand, the presentation looks at what future supply resources can be utilized to fill increased market demand and how companies can adjust their sourcing to take advantage of new seafood supplies.  Depending upon individual company or organization interest the presentation can include a look at retail and/or seafood operations in the future and the role of aquaculture in meeting future demand.
